We all have been very stubborn to change our habits don't we? Our typical habits are our so called soulmates we don't want to let go of. An example I would like to describe is our use of CV/resume. We just go and find a template and type down the skills, abilities and our educational qualifications and just simple as that we print it out. Is our learning is just stopping at any point of time? We master new things timely right? Just editing and printing again and again is so troublesome. A CV will contain our work experiences ,presentations , education, research etc.The main demerit of a CV/resume is that it have page limit. Here I want to discuss with you about digital portfolio. It's a digital CV/resume to be explained minimal. All will be same as it will have your work experiences, education, research, skills etc. But rather than being tailored for printing medium like CV/resume, it is meant for digital platform. We can carry it anywhere we want and edit it whenever we want and share in ease.It contains videos, audios, photos and slideshows too. So much interactive!!! You can add links on anything you want and make your portfolio interesting. No problems of editing and printing timely. CV/resume have become an evil partner of us who won't let go so easily. But understand that digital medium is so user friendly now rather than printing medium. It is an easy way in this fast growing world. We should also go with the development other than stuck in the conventional methods. The world is developing lets just contribute our support . So bring a change and switch to the mesmerizing digital world. Better be the best in this new world of best of everything.
