In today's life, it is very difficult to carry all your important documents all the time. So people often became confused what to keep as a permanent record, a CV, a resume or a Digital Portfolio.

A CV or Curriculum Vitae  is a written overview of someone's life's work. It includes more information than the typical resume. It includes details of your education and academic achievements, research, publications, awards, affiliations and more.

A resume is a document created and used by a person to present their background, skills, and accomplishments. A typical resume contains a summary of relevant job experience and education. It is a marketing tool in which the content should to suit each individual job application or applications aimed at a particular industry.

A Digital Portfolio or e-portfolio is a computer based collection of students performance over time. A Digital Portfolio consists of images, vectors and other pictures that make it much more perceptive to the viewer and help them to evaluate. It is a new technology and has a lot of features. It covers almost everything a person wants to put into his or her resume even with some advanced features.

So, according to me, Digital Portfolio is the best updated version of the traditional Resume or CV. In this digital era, where everything is digitalized, let's update ourself into a new technology that updates our resume or CV into a  Digital Portfolio.
