People often get confused between CVs , Resumes and Digital Portfolio. Is a resume the same as CV or Digital Portfolio? The answer is No. They are not at all the same.

A Curriculum Vitae (CV) is a very in-depth document that describes your career journey step by step including all sorts of personal information. CV gives a comprehensive description of everything you have done. You need to update your CV everytime you accomplish something new academically or professionally i.e., whenever you will get a new job or a certificate, you have to publish something new.

On the other hand, a resume is a short, straight to the point document created for the purpose of applying to a specific job . Unlike the CV , you should try to keep a resume as short as possible. In a resume , you only mention aspects of you work experience and skills that are relevant to the job you're applying for.

With the passing of time, everything has become digitalized. From education to job , shopping , entertainment etc. The world is changing rapidly and human beings are trying to push their boundaries on becoming more advanced in technology even beyond our imagination.

A digital portfolio is a collection of artifacts of learning that demonstrates growth, acquisition of skills or knowledge, and student creativity over time.
